Alen Miletic, PhD, is researcher (scientific novice) on a project Laboratory measuring procedures in sport, exercise science and kinesiology (MZOŠ RH no. 315-1773397-3332), led by Boris Maleš, PhD.
He published a total of 7 A1 scientific papers of which 4 in journals indexed in Web of Science (WoS), and 19 A2 papers in reviewed proceedings books.
A total number of citations published in WoS are 4, without self citations 3, with an h-index of 1 according to WoS until October, 2nd, 2013.
In 2012 got his PhD title at the Faculty of Kinesiology University of Split.
He has been participant of several international scientific conferences in sports science, kinesiology and physical education in which he had presentations (Barcelona, Split, Sarajevo, Mostar, Poreč, and act). He has been a co-mentor on 2 Master’s theses.
From November 1993 to April 1997 he was employed as tennis coach in tennis club «Dalmacijacement» – Solin where he was responsible for conditioning of whole tennis team. He also had coaching experience with elite water polo players (1993-1996) in water polo club Jordan Split. Also he is licensed skiing instructor.
He is an active member of scientific-sports organization «Citius-Altius-Fortius» since 1998. His scientific interest is in the domain of measuring in kinesiology, health prevention, sport conditioning.
He is currently responsible for organizing of University sport at the Faculty of Kinesiology University of Split.
